About

"Madrid, I love you" is a bi-lingual, half English and half Spanish drama/comedy. Set in Madrid, it’s filled with cynicism, sarcasm and sex, as well as a desire for true friendship, love, and a search for life's purpose. 6 international and diversely cultural characters, in different stages and ages in life, meet and share a bond over a love they have for the city. Despite the different motivations for moving, they find themselves in the same social circles and experience similar dramas as they share a flat. In spite of all the crazy night of partying, casual sex and drinking, the search for a deeper meaning is inevitable for each in the group.

The essence of this story is to portray as honestly as possible about how life is for international visitors who stay long term, as well as Spanish in Madrid. It shows how living in Madrid can make a big impact and change people's life in ways they didn’t expect. True friendship, finding love and searching the meaning of life will be the center of the story.

We produced "Madrid, I love you" as a pilot project for drama comedy TV series with duration of 40 minutes. The story was created by a spontaneous Indonesian woman, with a great adventurous spirit and supported by a good friend and producer/director who believe in the story. With faith and passion for the project, a talented Spanish team (consisting of a director, producers and film makers) has committed their time and efforts into producing the story for small screen. The series pilot project is written for 10 episodes and a 20-25 minutes movie clip will be produced of the first episode in addition to a 2 minutes trailer.
